Teaching
Experienced teacher of classes and workshops in modern dance, choreography, improvisation, performance technique, and dancer conditioning at technical levels ranging from early-learning/adult beginner to professional adult. Befort's classes are structured to foster articulate, intelligent and courageous dancing.
Lectures and Demonstrations
Corrie has given lectures and demonstrations at private and public schools, universities, conservatories, and for graduate scholars. She has also spoken about dance, on a variety of themes, before business and arts professionals.
Residencies
Corrie sincerely enjoys residencies. She has been invited to set work on companies and in schools often collaborating closely with local composers and designers.
Commissions
Befort has been commissioned by individual dancers, directors, dance companies, composers, theaters, and schools.
